Description:
BOREAS G480 is a concentrated antifreeze coolant formulated with mono ethylene glycol. It is free from nitrites, amines, and phosphates and features a hybrid composition of inorganic and organic corrosion inhibitors. Designed to protect modern engines in passenger cars and commercial vehicles, BOREAS G480 prevents damage caused by cavitation, freezing, rust, and overheating. Its highly effective corrosion inhibitors ensure comprehensive protection for all metals in the cooling system, minimizing deposits and corrosion. BOREAS G480 meets the VW coolant specification VW TL 774-C (G11) and offers a service life of up to 7 years or 450,000 kilometers.

Application:
BOREAS G480 must be diluted with water before filling into cooling system. We recommend distilled water for this. Depending on water hardness and quality (hardness not greater than 3.6 mmol/l), dilution with tap water is also possible. BOREAS G400 should be blended with water in a concentration amongst 33% to 60% by volume prior to infilling. The usage of a 50/50 ratio for the mixture of water and BOREAS G4800 is generally advisable.
Analysis values of the water may not exceed the following threshold values:
Water hardness: 0 – 3.6 mmol/l
Chloride content: max. 100 ppm
Sulfate content: max. 100 ppm
